The train left at six thirty. I looked out of the windows in the train. I found the scenery(风景)was beautiful. I wasn't tired at all.

    At four in the afternoon my train arrived at a station. I saw my grandpa standing outside. I got off the train and ran to him. He was happy when he saw me. I looked at him up and down. He was old but strong.

    His village is about three kilometers from the station. We walked there. I looked around. The mountains are high and green. I thought I could have a good time there.

    Blue Ocean Aquarium is a great place for families to take a holiday. Children love to see the sea animals and watch movies about sharks in it.

    Last Saturday morning, Mr. Jackson took his wife and two little sons to the aquarium. At the ticket office, he asked, "How much shall I pay to get in?" The woman at the ticket office answered, "The price is 20 dollars for each adult or any kid older than five. We let kids in free(免费地) if they are five or younger. How old are your kids?" Mr. Jackson said, "The older one is six and the younger one is three. I think I must buy three tickets." The woman was surprised. She said, "Sir, don't you want to save 20 dollars? If you tell me your older son is five, I won't know the difference." Mr. Jackson said with a smile, "Yes, that sounds right, but my kids know the difference."

    From Mr. Jackson's story, we know honesty is very important in the modern society. We should tell the truth to the people around us, especially to the kids.

    Mr. Brown is an old man. Every morning he goes for a walk in the park. And he comes home at twelve thirty for his lunch in the middle(中间) of the day.

    But today a car stops at his house at twelve o'clock. Two policemen(警察) help him get out. One of them says to Mr. Brown's daughter, "He can't find his way home in the park and asks us to take him home in the car."

    The daughter thanks the policemen and they leave(离开). Then she asks her father, "Dad, you go to the park every day. But today you can't find the way. What's wrong?"

    The old man smiles(微笑) like a child and says, "I can find my way home. But I don't want to walk home."

    My favourite sport is baseball. It is fun to play, and it is fun to watch.

    I went to my first baseball game with my grandparents when I was 6. It was really wonderful. We had a good time. I was happy to be with my grandparents. My grandfather made me love the game.

    My dad knew I loved baseball, so he gave me a baseball on my eighth birthday.

    When I was 12, my friend came to me and asked me to join his team and play baseball. I agreed. From then on, I got to learn more about baseball. I practised a lot and learned how to play better.

    My favourite baseball player is Derrek Lee. Derrek Lee joined the Chicago Cubs in 2004. That year was a good year for him, but 2005 was his best year. One of my favourite things about Derrek Lee is that he is a very nice person. He never shouts at others. He always has a big smile on his face. He seems happy all the time.
