    Last summer, I went to Yunnan on vacation with my family. We1four days there.

    Our first stop was Lugu Lake. I wondered why there was so beautiful a lake in the world. I enjoyed2there. We went boating and took quite a few photos, Then we went up to a hill. On the top of the3 , we got to see something beautiful. I felt like l was in a painting. I thought l would4forget the beautiful scenery there

    The next morning we went to Lijiang by bus. It was a long5from Lugu Lake to Lijiang. We6in the afternoon. After a short break, we went to walk around the town and bought some gifts. Then we decided to try the famous Guoqiao Rice Noodles for dinner. They were very7and delicious. After dinner we took a walk and enjoyed the old streets and buildings8the moon. The summer evening was cool.

    Our9stop was the” spring city” Kunming, We visited Dianchi. watched the birds and went to the flower market. We had a really wonderful day.

    The four-day trip came to a(n) 10soon. We had to go home. Everything in Yunnan was great It is a very beautiful and interesting place. I'm sure you'll never regret going on a trip there.

    Western Restaurant

    This is Western Restaurant. It has the most delicious food. And it plays the most wonderful music. However, the food is the most expensive. And the waiters aren't friendly at all.

    East Lake

    East Lake is the best place to go on weekends. There are beautiful trees and flowers. The most important thing is that it is free for visitors. However, sometimes it's kind of crowded because of too many people.

    Wanda Cinema

    Many people like Wanda Cinema. It has the biggest screens and the most comfortable seats, and the workers always do their best to help you. But the tickets are more expensive than those in any other cinemas.

    Shopping Mall

    I always go shopping in the Shopping Mall. It's the closest mall to my home. People can buy the cheapest things. But there is a bad thing. The workers here are boring. They always ask you to buy things you don't need at all.

    Emma Watson, one of my favorite stars, left 100 books on London's subways, and people in London were very pleased to find and read these books. However, the books placed on Guangzhou's subway received a cold reaction(反应). Someone opened a book, but he or she would just have a quick look at it instead of reading it for a while. Why do Chinese people have such a different reaction to the books on the subway?

    Most people in China prefer chatting with their friends or watching videos on phones to reading books on their way to work or home. However, one of my foreign friends says in foreign countries, lots of people like reading books on their way. If you look around, you'll always find some foreigners reading novels on the subway.

    It's much more convenient to get information from the Internet. You can know the latest news and find whatever you want on websites or apps. However, the Internet can't bring us the most beautiful phrases and sentences. Compared with free comments on the Internet, words on books are more vivid and touching. Although we are busy making a good life, we also should spare some time to improve ourselves by reading some classic and useful books. Throw all those electronic things away, find somewhere quiet and comfortable and read an interesting book. You will get a lot of pleasure from it.

    The popular TV show The Reader came back      May, 2018. Many people became its fans after they watched it in 2017. This is a book-reading show, but in fact, people read everything in the show, such as poems, books, letters and so on. The show      people touching and educational stories too.

    This show also gives people a place to read. It's a reading pavilion(亭). It appears in many cities      Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xi'an. The pavilion is      and only one or two persons can walk into it each time. There's a microphone(麦克风)      it will record(录制)what people read. Each      has about 3 minutes to read and record. The show will pick some of the readers and ask      to read in the TV show.

    Lots of common people read in the pavilion. Yu Duohan,       11-year—old student, is one of them. "I love      aloud." She said. “It makes the story much      beautiful. ''

    The pavilion will travel to different cities and you can read your favorite story in it soon.

    Friends are very important in everyone's life because friends are always there when we need them. It's great to have many friends, and I can't think about my life without my friends.

    My best friend is Lisa. When I first met her, I was five. She is one year older than me. Now she is in the same class with me, in the 8th grade. She is tall and quite thin. She has long curly blond hair and blue eyes. Lisa and I like doing a lot of things together and talking about different things. She always helps me with my math and I sometimes help her with her English and history, I had to do a report(报告)on science once, but I didn't understand(理解) what the teacher said. The next day, I read it in front of the class. But the teacher told me that my report was wrong and my classmates laughed at me. I felt very bad about myself. Lisa was the only one who didn't laugh at me. She tried to be nicer than anybody else and made me happy.

    Lisa is friendly and everybody loves her. I am happy to have a friend like her.
