Mark Twain was famous as a writer, but he was also famous as a public        of funny stories. He often went from town to town to give lectures.

One day, he was walking       the street of a small town. He was going to give a lecture there that evening. He met a young man. The young man said, “Mr. Twain, I'd like to talk to you for a minute, please. I have an uncle, but he       laughs or smiles. Can you do       ?”

“Bring your uncle to my lecture this evening. I will       him laugh and smile.”

A growing number of Chinese Internet users like Wang have found the joys of online shopping. Most online shoppers are students or young workers. More women shop on line than men. Clothing and home-use products are the most popular on line.

It was reported that more than 250 billion yuan, was spent on online shopping last year,80% through Taobao.

Taobao means “looking for treasure” in Chinese. People can find almost everything they need on Taobao,from clothes to books,from candies to DVD players.

“You may question the security of online shopping,” Wang Lin said, “It's very safe and convenient. Unless you receive the products from the sellers and are satisfied (满意) with them, the shop owner will not get the money. You can also get your money back if you want to return the products.”

So Doctor Val has a travelling hospital. His hospital's on a van, there is an operating (手术) table, a medicine box and e       else he wants to treat birds and animals. Dr. Val's hospital has been o       for about 10 years. Val loves his work. He is very b       every day and he has saved many animal pets. Dr. Val says, “We want some more travelling hospitals. I hope some other people can have their travelling hospitals. We must look after animals well.” Would you like to have a hospital for animals?

China sent two astronauts into space on Monday, October 20th, 2016. Their journey marks e beginning of China's human space flight. A rocket sent a Shenzhou-11 spacecraft with astronauts Chen Dong and Jing Haipeng into space. China sent the rocket at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (卫星发射中心). Chen is 37 years old. This is his first space flight. But Jing has done this before—it is his third space flight. He will turn 50 years old soon. People all over the world watched a live broadcast happily.

After two days in Earth's orbit (轨道)  the spacecraft will link with China's lab, called the Tiangong-2. The astronauts will spend 30 days on the Tiangong-2. They plan to do science and spacecraft experiments and tests for a future space station. China also plans to send a special module around 2018. The main task of Tiangong-2 is to practise the technologies. This is China's first-ever space station. So far, China is making great progress. Until now, China has made five manned space missions. In 2003, it successfully landed on the moon. China hopes to land on Mars by 2020.
