Rules in the reading room

    Hello, everyone. Welcome to the school reading room. We hope you have a good time here. Before you go into the reading room, there are some rules you need to keep.

⒈ The reading room is open from 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. from Monday to Friday.

⒉ Don't take your bag into the reading room.

⒊ Don't talk loudly in the reading room.

⒋ Don't take any food or drink into the reading room.

⒌ Take only one book at a time. After you finish reading the book, you must put it back and then you can take another one. Don't take many books to your seat.

⒍ Before you leave, you must return the book to the bookshelf. You can't take any book out of the reading room.

    New rules for the middle school students came out. The following are some of the new rules.

    You should not dye(染) your hair, 1or drink. You should not copy others' work in an exam.

    Good students love animals and 2other people. Being kind to animals is being kind to ourselves. Be friendly to the people3you. Try to think others, not only 4.

    Michael and I are in the s      school. Our school is near our home. We usually walk there in the morning. Our school is very big and there is a supermarket, a bank and a post office n       to it. A street is in front of our school and it is very busy. We have to be c        when we go to school.

    When a fire begins, we must tell the firemen. Do you know how to do this? Go to the nearest telephone and dial the number 119. When someone speaks, tell him about the fire. Speak slowly and clearly. A fire engine will arrive quickly. The firemen know what to do. They have long ladders to reach the high windows. They try their best to rescue the people who can't go out.

    If some people are hurt, they will be taken to a hospital in an ambulance. After all the people have been saved, the firemen put out the fire. Sometimes it is very difficult because some people put things in corridors and on stairs. Then the firemen can't get past to put out the fire. If you want to be a fireman, you must be strong and healthy. A fireman has to be able to carry heavy things. He has to be able to climb ladders and to work in high places. So he also has to be brave.
