      On Saturdays and Sundays, I get up early in the morning. I run for about half an hour in the park near my home. After breakfast, I do my homework. Sometimes Mother reads newspapers and sometimesshe listens to music in the sun. Father often does some fishing. We are all happy in the park. We go home at about 6.00 in the afternoon. We have dinner at home. After dinner, I play computer games for about half an hour.

        One morning, Mr. and Mrs. Brown get up very early. After they have breakfast, they go shopping at seven thirty. They get to the shop at seven fifty. In the shop, they see many clothes. Mrs. Brown likes them very much. So she buys a shirt for their son（儿子）, a skirt for their daughter（女儿）, and a sweater for Mr. Brown. She buys a blouse for herself, too. Mr. Brown looks at his watch. Then he says, “Oh, it;s twelve o;clock, I think we must go home now. It;s very late.” So they get out of the shop and go home, but they lose their way. Mr. Brown drives down(沿着) the street. He can;t find the way. Then he drives over to an old man and asks, “Excuse me, Sir. Where am I?” The old man looks at him and their car. “You are in your car, Sir.” he says.

Sam lives in New York City. His father has a shop there, and his mother is a teacher. He is seven years old now and begins to go to school this autumn. The school is a little far from their shop, so his father drives him to school every day. He is never late for school and his teachers like him. It's Monday today. Miss Hunt is teaching the students to count(数数) from one to ten. Sam studies hard. Soon he can count them. Miss Hunt is happy and asks, “How many people are there in your family, Sam?” Sam stands up and begins to count with his fingers.
